Also the game doesn't crash when I start from steam (didn't do any compatability mode changes) so I'm guessing the issue is probably not that but I'll try. I've already done all of these before I created the post except for the compatability mode settings will try that and write back here the results. Note: I use all these fixes for my game and it works fine, the use of any single fix but not the others may not work, so I highly recommend using all of them.
